The Forest girl

This song is a kind of mash-up: its lyrics is taken from a poem by classic Tatar poet Khadi Taktash, and combined with a tune written by Syd Matters. This song is among the first ones to have the band’s distinctive transparent and aery sound.

This song was intended to show the alternative view of Urman Kyzy (the Forest girl) from Khadi Taktash’s poem. On the one hand she is a mythological and mysterious creature and on the other hand she is in sync with our times.
