Когда опускался рассвет, осенние ветра
Будили печаль озера.
Последние гуси улетели сегодня,

The farewell

At break of dawn, the autumn winds
Would wake the lake’s yearning.
The last geese flew away today
In flocks, chasing each other.

The lake is left to wait for their return,

As if they merged into the clouds themselves,
And their feathers, like the snow, remained
